Filmmakers Sean Fornara and Michael Urie travel back to their hometowns in Texas to chronicle the mother of all Speech and Debate Tournaments - TFA State.

In Texas every year, the best of the best come to be judged at the mother of all Speech and Debate competitions. They might play all the characters from a madcap stage play, interpret aloud the autobiography of a ninety year old, speak from their heart about labels and stereotypes, or argue the rights and wrongs of the latest in politics.
