Still owing his truck to his voracious and ruthless employer--and with his sister still dangerously unmarried--the poor but always optimistic lorry driver, Thanasis, has his plate full right now. Desperate to stay afloat, the indefatigable toiler will have to further increase his already enormous debt, until one day, he chances upon Anna, an equally wronged and destitute young woman. From then on, things can only take a turn for the worse, as the unfortunate soulmates come face-to-face with the ugly truth of an inhumane reality.
