Rajeev Bansal, a simpleton, leads a content life with his loving family. However, he wishes to build a rapport with and become a close confidant and friend to his young son.

After losing his wife over a year ago, Rajeev Bansal marries Daljeet, his senior, at the bank which he works. However, this marriage is only for the safety and betterment of Daljeet's kids, who are targeted by their uncle, Shakti, for money and property. With Rajeev's kids not in good terms with the kids of Daljeet, how far will this marriage go?

Rishabh feels unsecured, and feels that Barry is trying to harm his father. Shakti on a later day comes in a bike and injures Rishabh but at the same time takes him to the doctor. Mr Bansal thinks that it is a part of shakti's plan and tells Rishabh to prove that he has really got hurt, when actually Rishabh has got hurt. Then Rishabh gets angry and threatens to leave the Bansal House.
