Generous young women will do (almost) anything to save a public service from destruction by greedy town developers.
There seems to be some confusion here - there was a film (same title) released in 1984, that's being described here. This one was released in 1994 (I worked on it, art director) and it's about a hair restoration doctor whose fresh-out-of-school nurses help him attract and maintain a clientel. The director plays a guy who wants to get the doctor evicted, and Rhonda Shear plays his dominatrix girlfriend. The story was always a little bit confusing, but it followed the lead nurse as she graduated nursing school (for some reason, Ron Jeremy did a cameo at the graduation ceremony, but it's definitely not porn). She finds a job with a good-hearted young doctor who specializes in hair restoration, but is having a hard time attracting and maintaining a client base. The nurse and a couple of her friends spruce up his practice, attracting men with their skimpy uniforms, while the director's character tries to get the whole bunch of them evicted from the building. In the end (spoilers?) the doc and the lead gal fall in love, goodness triumphs over evil, and all is right with the world - or at least with the hair restoration practice.
