Omar, a gnawi musician, returns to his village in Morocco after a seven year absence and discovers that his wife is dead and his daughter gone living in France. With the help of Hadi, who is mentally challenged, Omar embarks on a road trip through the Atlas Mountains to pick up his group of musicians to play at a traditional Moroccan wedding.
