Two children venture through a magical realm to restore the powers of the great wizard Jacob Bruce, who must protect the Sukharev Tower from an evil sorcerer set on conquering the world.

In early-18th-century Moscow, around Tower's Laboratory of famous wizard Jacob Bruce, mysterious events begin after Bruce's daughter Margo and pupil Peter, during a quarrel, tear the ancient manuscript in which Bruce's magic power is contained. Now he can't protect The Fatherland from the Dark. Peter and Margo must go to the Magic World to restore the manuscript; meanwhile, Bruce combats with black magic.—Daniel Tanielian
