Diverse characters, regular customers of the Viennese cafe Sperlhof, suspect each other of being the Necktie Murderer, whose last victim is found in a local movie theater, but the corpse disappears.

In the black comedy TAXI FÜR EINE LEICHE (Taxi For A Corpse) by Austrian director Wolfgang Murnberger (ATTWENGER), a body goes missing. Thereafter, the characters involved accuse each other of wrongdoings and have to face dangerous situations... A mysterious necktie murderer who has struck terror in Vienna for some time, leaves behind another body, this time in a run-down suburban cinema. Together with her friend Schorsch, the cinema owner wants to get rid of the corpse as discreetly as possible, fearing that the case might be to her personal disadvantage. After all, she knew the murder victim and owed him some money. But all of a sudden, the corpse is gone. Furthermore a hairdresser and her taxi driving boyfriend and the strange Gabriel, all of them regular customers at the cafe Sperlhof, come into play. They all begin to suspect each other of the crime...
