Native Arab slave traders plan on capturing Lady Jane (Natalie Kingston)and selling her but are diverted by a cache of stolen jewels from the jungle city of Opar. Meanwhile an internationals band of jewel thieves are also distracted by Jane. Tarzan (Frank Merrill') has to combat both of these evil forces. To secure his estates in England, Tarzan, known to London as the Earl of Greystoke, and to the wild jungle as Tarzan the Tiger, returns to Africa with his mate, Lady Jane, and his friend, Albert Werper. However, treason, revenge, and the gold treasure of Opar are on duplicitous Werper's mind, who, with the aid of his equally unscrupulous ally, the Arab slave trader, Achmet Zek, manage to abduct Jane and condemn her into a life of slavery.
