Composed of two episodes of the Tarzan (1966) TV series, edited as a cinema feature film, Tarzan's Deadly Silence follows Tarzan's Jungle Rebellion (1967), also with Ron Ely, and Tarzan and the Jungle Boy (1968) with Mike Henry. Ron Ely stars again as Tarzan, who, this time, loses his hearing when a powerful bomb goes off near him. Suffering temporary hearing loss, mighty Tarzan must do battle with the ruthless mercenary known as The Colonel, who amasses an army to take over an African village. But, Tarzan knows the wild jungle like the back of his hand. Will the invaders get away with murder?—Nick Riganas
