Pope and Pat first meet in an accident when Pat thinks she hit Pope with her car. She helps him get to the hospital and find his way home, but they part without exchanging names. Pope discovers his father is marrying a younger woman, Pim, who is Pat’s older sister. To stop the wedding, Pope kidnaps Pat, mistaking her for Pim. He takes her to a remote island, where they must coexist.
