Car thief, street racer Billy Joe meets cat burglar, hacker Bobbie Soo in the county lockup after he steals a $1M Porsche Spyder and she a $4M Faberge egg. They break out of jail with County Sherriff Willie Mack (who also happens to be Billy Joe's godfather) and Homeland Security Agent Stevie Miller on their trail. He's on the verge of retirement and it's her first field assignment. Maurice Pompatus, international shipping and antiquities magnate and heir apparent to the Greek Mafia whom they've both robbed then rob again sends a psychotic pair of twins to hunt them down, steal back his car, the egg and his money and aim their rocket launcher to annihilate them as they approach the Mexican border. Full of zany, complex and comedic dysfunctional characters with car chases, chaos, grand spectacle and packed with surprises until the very end finally answering the question. What was so important about that egg?
