A gang of 4 pirates, down on their luck, head for a weather-tracking station on an outlying island, intending to hold the weather-trackers hostage and raid their next incoming supply ship. at the station the weathermen tell them, however, that a serious typhoon is on the way and the ship will be delayed. holed up at the station while the typhoon rages round, the pirates manage to quarrel and ultimately kill each other off -- the slinky pirate moll (Hara) by stepping in front of a bullet meant for the station's clean-cut telegraph operator (Usami), from the gun of Hara's jealous lover (Yamamura).—zangiku
