Right away after her graduation from university, young Penelope Beyer gets a job as a reporter of the local TV station. Her first task is to report on the first "day of the devils" since more than 10 years. During her investigation Penelope comes across a covered up crime, in which esteemed personalities of the city are involved. In spite of all intimidations and threats, Penelope continues her research.
