A young bamboo-flutist leaves Tokyo to attend his sister's wedding in their hometown. He stays, and takes a factory job, but soon returns to Tokyo, only to be dumped by his girlfriend and evicted by his landlady. Wandering the streets, he finally joins a band of street musicians.—[email protected]
