A lawyer gets his affluent client acquitted of double homicide but drunkenly confesses the truth, becoming an outcast. He reunites with an old flame to seek vengeance while everyone's innocence becomes questionable.

Maks Pinter, a successful Zagreb lawyer, managed to get the charges for double murder against his client, the rich and powerful Dinko Horvat, dropped. At the celebration party, Maks is drunk and tells Dinko he killed the workers, who only came asking about their salaries, in cold blood. The confrontation with one of the pillars of society makes Maks an undesirable person, he loses his partner and clients, and his wife leaves him. With his university-days girlfriend Nina, he embarks on a revenge mission. On the other hand, no one in this story is entirely innocent and everyone is tightly connected.—Pula Film Festival
