Typical teenager Sam Collins (Matthew Lawrence) and his friends secretly fight virus monsters by transporting themselves into the computer.
Sam Collins (Matthew Lawrence) is a typical teen (with a talent for programming video games) who's the leader of a rock band. One day, at practice, he is the victim of a sudden energy surge. He becomes a character in one of his games, named "Servo". Meanwhile, Malcolm Frink (Glen Beaudin), discovers a strange program in his computer, named "Kilokahn", which is a military Artificial Intelligence program, now presumed destroyed in the energy surge. Now Sam, Sydney (Robin Mary Florence), Tanker (Kevin Castro), and Amp (Troy Slatten) must fight Kilokahn (Tim Curry) in cyberspace while keeping everything hush-hush.—George Britt <[email protected]>
Malcolm hates Sam because Jennifer is Sam's girlfriend. Malcolm draws hideous pictures of creatures that look like dinosaurs and scans them. Then kilokahn shoots a beam from one monitor to another and brings the image to life. The live image becomes a virus and enters inside the circuit board of any electronic device through wires and cables. After entering an electronic device the virus starts to physically destroy the various components which are soldered on to the circuit board by ripping them out with its bare hands. Then an anti virus called servo physically fights the virus inside the circuit board of the affected electronic device with punches and kicks. Servo is actually Sam and he wears an attrocious looking wrist watch. Sam is able to enter inside his computer when he plays a certain chord on his electric guitar. After entering inside his computer Sam is able to travel through wires and cables to reach the affected electronic device and fight the virus inside it. Sam has 3 friends who are also able to enter inside Sam's computer and then help him physically fight the virus. The electronic device that may be affected can be anything from a digital alarm clock to a sophisticated computer system.
A teenager named Sam Collins (Matthew Lawrence) is sucked into his computer turning into Servo, who, with his friends Amp (Troy Slatten), Tanker (Kevin Castro), and Sydney (Robin Mary Florence), protect the digital world from the evil Kilokahn (Tim Curry) and his army of Megavirus monsters.—Lenny Farr <[email protected]>
