The greatest of the DC Comics superheroes work together to uphold the good with the help of some young proteges.

Just Imagine! The greatest heroes of our time, banded together to stamp out the forces of evil wherever and whenever they might appear! Based on DC Comics' long-running Justice League Of America series, the show featured the Justice League (Superman, Batman & Robin, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman together with 'apprentice' super-heroes Marvin, Wendy, and Wonder Dog. Other DC luminaries such as the Flash and the Atom made periodic cameos.—Greg Sheets <[email protected]>

Continuing the adventures of the Justice League, this incarnation of the show replaced Marvin, Wendy, and Wonder Dog with the Wonder Twins. Zan and Jayna, from the planet Exor, possessed shape shifting powers; Zan could become any form of water or ice, while Jayna could assume the shape of any animal. Assisted by their pet monkey Gleek, they not only helped the Justice Leaguers but lent assistance to teenagers in trouble. In addition to the classic Superman/Batman/Robin/Aquaman/Wonder Woman lineup, guests such as the Flash, the Atom, Green Lantern, and Hawkman & Hawkwoman appeared occasionally.—Greg Sheets <[email protected]>

In this show, Superman leads a superhero team comprising of the greatest DC Comics superheroes against a team of 13 of the most notorious DC Comics supervillians called the Legion of Doom, led by Lex Luthor in a war that has the fate of Earth in the balance.—Kenneth Chisholm <[email protected]>

This iteration of the Superfriends program contained full half-hour episodes which were among the darkest of the superheroes' careers. It featured only Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, Aquaman, and the Wonder Twins. Their adventures took them into underground kingdoms of dwarves, mushroom worlds populated by tar creatures, transformed them into vampire bats, pitted them against the Super enemies of an alternate dimension's Hall of Evil, and even a planet Mr. Myxyzptlk has based on L. Frank Baum's land of Oz.—Scott Hutchins <[email protected]>
