Calcutta - 1971 has experienced a series of political agitation during the revolution by the Naxalite which shook everybody. Sufi Saida Khan, a famous thumri singer of the then Kolkata and ACP Apratim Sen have started to grow fond of each other. On the other hand ACP Apratim is given the responsibility to hunt down the naxals in politically agitated Calcutta, especially their leader, Nairit who also happens to be the childhood love of Sufi.
