When the promiscuous seventeen-year-old Taylor Keenan is brought home by the police after stealing a case of beer, her parents Roy and Elaine Keenan conclude that they need to spend some time together in family. They travel with Elaine and the boy Kevin to the Pine Hotel, where they went when Taylor was a kid, to spend a couple of days together and they are welcomed by the front desk Mr. Lockwood. While her parents are checking in, Taylor befriends two French young men at the bar.
