A disillusioned office worker finds freedom and a new sense of self after assuming her missing colleague's identity on a dating app.

Naoko's life just can't get any worse. An already disillusioned part-timer for a dead-end office job, she also finds herself saddled with an absentee fiancé's infidelity and a string of unsettling crank calls. Seeking a distraction, she observes her mysterious yet carefree colleague Yamaguchi exchanging platonic faux companionship for cash via an anonymous dating app, and when Yamaguchi vanishes, Naoko decides to literally step into her shoes. Embracing the new persona, she begins to earn serious money and enjoy the newfound sense of self- discovery and situational control, but all the freedom in pretending might come at the cost of losing her grip on who she ever really was.
