In a dystopian spacefaring future, Naia, a female guitarist, and Parker, a female saxophonist, fall in love and form a successful band together. A sleazy music producer breaks them up. When his acts start dying, Parker must save Naia.

The twenty-eighth century, two hundred years after the Great Earth Exodus. Naia X. (Tara Strong), a feisty, young singer/songwriter, falls in love with the beautiful saxophonist Parker C. Boyd (Claudia Black) in Ganymede, one of Jupiter's moons. The two form a band and now they have to not only make it as musicians, but also fight for their freedom. Dramatically rendered in rich, hand-drawn animation, this movie brings us into a world of space pirates, indentured slaves, and genetic mutations. Synopsis

It is the end of the 28th century. We're on Ganymede, one of the moons of Jupiter. The human race has long since left a decimated Earth. To survive the harsh climates of other planets and moons, humans have genetically modified themselves making skin color and sexual organs a common matter of fashion.

Two beautiful musicians, Parker, a soulful saxophonist, and Naia, an impish guitarist, play center stage. They move almost as one, a seamless harmony developed over the years from the bonding and sharing in their struggle to get just this far in their careers.

Unfortunately, fame is about to tear them apart.
