Summaries

This film is about an upside down world, where being homosexual is considered "normal" and heterosexual is considered "not normal".

Yannis loves Sofia and this makes him the unluckiest person in the world. His parents, his neighbors, his friends and the society he lives in are all against it. But what is the problem? Why can't they have a normal life? Strange as it may seem the problem is that they are straight. Yannis and Sofia belong to a different world, a world where gay relationships are the norm, where only people of the same sex fall in love. In this world, families are made up only of mothers or fathers and anyone who claims otherwise is swiftly banished. In this world,Yannis and Sofia will have to make the impossible possible to keep their love alive. If you thought you knew everything about straight relationships, think again.—Thessaloniki Film Festival

Yannis, a straight man navigating his way through a world where gay relationships represent the rule rather than an exception, harbours a secret love for Sophia, his gay colleague. However, she's with another woman. As a result, he can kiss the dream of having her goodbye. But the heart wants what it wants. As fleeting glances lead to dashed hopes and emotional impasse, love-struck Yannis must pluck up the courage to ask Sophia a simple question. Who knows? Perhaps she is feeling the same.—Nick Riganas
