At the forest in a small cottage lives a guy named Bruno, who takes care of his disabled nephew Ugo. Their quiet life suddenly changes when a group of young rebels, including the local sheriff's son, go camping in the woods near Bruno's cottage. While collecting wood in the woods, Ugo accidentally sees the sheriff's son's girlfriend, she starts running away when she notices him, and stumbles against a collapsed tree and dies. Ugo tries to save her and brings her home to her uncle. Uncle Bruno tries to solve this situation his own way.
