A yuppie couple lost in a thick, brush-filled marsh seek refuge at an isolated farmhouse only to discover they've jumped out of the frying pan into the fire.
On a weekend boating excursion, husband and wife, Rob and Pia become lost and end up in the most unlikely place, a thick brush filled marsh, on an island in the middle of nowhere. With their boat in disarray, darkness coming on, and a heavy thunderstorm starting up, their only solution is to look for help or seek shelter of some kind. They finally come across a decrepit house and barn with no one home. However, there are definite signs of the house being inhabited, and the enormous crop of marijuana in the barn suggests the homeowners may not welcome their presence. Even worse, there is no telephone or means of communication to the outside world. But when the deranged, redneck owners, Brett, Jimmy and their even more sadistic father Poppy return, Rob and Pia realize a fear far beyond anything they have ever known. Furious with the unwanted intrusion of the affluent, snooping intruders, the monstrously sadistic farmers imprison and torture the couple, who fearing for their lives, submit to appalling degradation and humiliation. The lawyer Rob and his French wife Pia rent a small motor boat to spend the day fishing at the sea. In the end of the day, Rob decides to steer the boat through marsh islands but they become lost and stranded while a storm is coming. Rob decides to walk with Pia to find a shelter and they reach a dilapidated house with no one home. Rob also finds a decrepit greenhouse with a plantation of marijuana. Out of the blue, three rednecks arrive in the place and the abusive and deranged brothers Jimmy and Brett point shotguns to them and torture Rob and Pia while their father "Poppy" goes to his room to rest. At the beginning of the story, we see a couple named Pia and Rob; both of them are going to take a vacation. Rob is a lawyer and drinks; the same she was an artist, and because of this, both of them used to be very busy. But today, both of them took their time and made a plan to go on vacation.
Later, these people reach a dog yard where they rent a boat. Here, Rob rates a small boat instead of a big boat; on this, Priya asks him why he did this. Rob tells her that traveling in a small boat will be very easy, and they will also enjoy it; so he has booked a small boat. After which, both of them sit in that boat and go to the sea. Then, at one place, they stop their boat and go fishing when Rob tells Pia that he has lost a case, due to which he was in a lot of tension, and that is why he has come on this vacation. When a fish gets stuck in Pia's noose, Rob sees this. Pia gets shocked seeing that he kills the fish and says that he should not have killed it like this.
Now, after some time, the weather starts changing, and there is going to be a very strong storm. Rob starts the boat and plans to leave; but after going some distance, both of them get lost because they did not remember the way. Now, both of them come to some other place. Pia is quite surprised and asks him what they will do now, and Rob tells her that they will stop right here on a nearby island so that they can call for some help from there. When they reach that island, they see that a car appears. Rob wants to go there to get help, but Pia stops him. They see that there are three people near that car who are beating a man badly. She goes and tells Rob that they should leave because she is not feeling well after seeing this. Rob agrees with her; after which, he proceeds from there. Only then does he see a house. Seeing this, both of them go to that house. Now, there is a lot of storm going on outside, and they feel that in that house they will get some help; but there is no one in that house. Then it starts raining heavily, which makes them feel very cold. After which, Rob enters that house through the back door and takes Pia inside.
When he goes in, he sees a photo of three people who used to live there; this house is very dirty. Then Rob tells Pia that he is going outside to find the phone so that he can call for help. When he goes out, he reaches a green room where there are many drug plants. Seeing this, they understand that all three still live here and stay here for drugs. Here, we see that all three of them reach their house with their car. Seeing that, Pia gets very scared. She shouts and shouts to Rob; hearing this, Rob comes to her and tells her that they should get out of here soon. They have to get out soon because here these people do dirty work. Then, when they are going out from there, those people point their guns at them. They abuse them and say, "How dare you enter our house?" Rob starts apologizing to him and says that he thought no one lived here, so they wanted to stay here for a night. That man asks Rob how he came; Rob tells him that they were lost in the river, and only then did he see this island. Then they came here to get some help. Rob asks him if he has any phones; on this, the man laughs and says that no one calls here. Pia asks him if there is any hotel around here where they can stay. However, now they had no other option, so these two were together for one night. They decide to stay at their house; after which, Brat tells his brother Jimmy to bring Poppy to the house. Poppy is their father, and both of them are very afraid of him. Then Brat takes his father up in an intoxicated state; Poppy sleeps there. After that, Brat comes down, and the two brothers together start insulting Pia and Rob. He tells them that both of them must have gotten wet, which can make their health worse, so why not go to the bathroom and change their clothes after taking a bath. Then Brat gives them the towel, after which they both go there to take a bath.
While they are taking a bath, Rob tells Pia that it is a big danger for them to stay here because he has seen these people grow drugs and sell them; why not run away from here and tell the police everything about them? Hearing this, Pia tells him that they don't need to do all this; they just have to get out of here, and they will not tell anything to the police. Only then do we see Jimmy overhear all these things from him, and he comes to know that they have heard that both of them know about his business. He picks up their clothes and takes them from there so that they roam around naked. Then, when both of them come out of the bathroom, they see that their clothes are missing. Seeing this, Rob and Pia get very scared because they don't know what they are going to do with them. Then, they put on the old clothes lying there and go inside.
Then, Rob asks Jimmy to return his clothes, but Jimmy starts scolding him, saying that if they are in his house now, then everything will be according to him; they will have to do as he says. Hearing this, Rob agrees with him because he does not have any other way. Then, he becomes his wife; he tells her that they have to do as they say; otherwise, they will kill them. After which, Jimmy asks Pia to cook food for them. When asked for it, Pia starts cooking for him. Then, Brat pulls Rob's towel and starts laughing at him. Now, these people start bullying him a lot, due to which he gets very upset. Only then does Pia speak in her French language; she tells her husband that they have to get out of here soon.
Jimmy doesn't understand anything after listening to French, so he asks her what she said. Rob lies to her, saying that she said she is going to cook. After this, Jimmy and Brat tell Pia that they want to see her body, so they say, "Let's take off our clothes." Rob gets angry on hearing this, but Jimmy holds his throat, takes him, and tells him that this is his house, and everything will be according to him here. He is about to kill Rob with a knife; then, Pia stops him and says that she will do as he says. Then, she takes off her clothes in front of them, and those people start looking at her body. Jimmy gets very angry seeing this; he shouts at Pia and says that it is very difficult to get food here, and she has burned all the food. So, what will they eat now? Jimmy has a baby kangaroo; he asks Pia to cut it and cook it, but Pia says that she will not kill any animal. Hearing this, Jimmy places a knife on her husband's neck and threatens Pia to kill her husband, forcing him to kill the kangaroo's child unwillingly. This makes him feel very bad. After this, she cooks its meat, and everyone eats it. Then, he hears his father's voice from above; hearing this, they calm down. He tells both of them to remain silent; otherwise, their father would kill them badly. Then, Pia tells Jimmy that she and her husband are very tired, so they both want to rest. On this, he says that both of them can go and live in the room. Then, he takes them to the room and gives them their clothes too, telling them that they should not try to run away from there.
After he leaves, Pia and Rob plan to run away. Then, they break the door and start running from there so that they can find their way. But then, they see the body of a man on the way who was brutally killed by all three of them. Seeing this, both of them get very scared. Just then, Jimmy and Brat come over there and catch them; along with this, he also has a dog that eats human flesh. He starts eating the flesh of that dead person.
Seeing this, Rob and Priya get very scared. After this, Jaime and Brat take them back to that place and say, "How dare you run away from here?" Rob tells them, "How much more will you guys bother us? Let us go from here." Hearing this, Brat shoots him in the side; then, he also breaks his leg, which causes him a lot of pain, and he faints there. He tells Rob that now he will do a lot of wrong with his wife.
Then, when those people go to do wrong to Priya, only then does her father come to the house; he had woken up after hearing the sound of bullets. Seeing Pia and Rob there, he beats his son a lot and tells him, "Why didn't you tell me about this?" Just then, Pia tells him that her sons were about to rape her. After some time, Poppy tells Brad to go keep an eye on them and see what they are doing there. Then, when Brad goes there, they both start pretending to sleep. Seeing this, Brad walks up to them and picks up Pia. Seeing him, Pia tells him that he always listens to his brother, but there is goodness hidden inside him, which he does not want to show. This hits Brad's heart, and he thinks that Pia is right. Pia tells him to let them go from here, but Brad points the gun at him. Only when Brad comes near that trap does Rob start that trap; the noose gets stuck on his face, and a lot of blood starts coming out of him.
Pia tries to shoot him with a gun, but the gun does not shoot. Just then, Rob gives Pia a hammer, with which Brad attacks Pia's head and kills her. After this, both of them hide her body. Here, Brad hadn't come yet; that's why Jimmy starts worrying about her. Then, he goes to see the room, but he seems to be all right there. When he comes back into the house, Poppy tells him to send Pia to his room because he wants to do something with her.
Jimmy then goes to the room and tells Pia that his father is calling her. He asks her where her brother Brad is; on this, they both tell him that they do not know. After this, Jimmy takes Pia with him and starts preparing her. Then, he sends her upstairs to his father. When Priya goes there, she sees that he was waiting for her. Then, he asks her to sit on his lap and starts touching her body. When he goes to rape Pia, his private part gets caught in Pia's trap, due to which a lot of blood starts coming out of his private part, and he starts screaming in pain.
Hearing her scream, Jimmy comes to her room. Seeing this, Pia starts running from her room; he follows Pia and tries to shoot her, but Pia runs away from there. She immediately goes to the house and starts running away with her husband. Then, when Jimmy comes to that place, he realizes that both of them are hiding behind the gate. When he opens that gate, he finds his brother's body there. Jimmy gets very angry seeing this, and he starts chasing them with a gun. Here, Pia and Rob reach their car, but there is no key in that car.
Seeing this, Pia goes back to that house to get the keys. Just then, Poppy frees himself from the trap and comes to Pia in a wounded condition; he attacks her, but Pia somehow manages to escape with the key. After that, she gets in the car and starts it.
Just then, Poppy starts coming to catch him; but then his dog sees blood coming out of Poppy's private part; that's why he wants to eat it. Only then does he attack Poppy and start eating her meat. Jimmy gets very angry seeing this; then he follows them in a car with a big fan behind it. But then, Pia starts the car and hits Jimmy, due to which Jimmy collides with the big fan, which now kills all three. After this, Pia and Rob take their car and leave from there.
