In the wild forest of Backwoods, ambitious Ranger Rooney and always enthusiastic Hare get into hilarious adventures while learning a thing or two about friendship.
Rooney and Hare couldn't be more different. Rooney loves to follow rules and aspires to become a Forest Ranger. She arrives in the forest of Backwoods on a mission to impose rules, clean it up and make it better in every way. Hare likes to talk to his echo. He's enthusiastic, bouncy and chatty but deep down, he's pretty lonely. He doesn't think much (or ever!) about rules but it's such fun to join the newcomer Rooney as she tries to introduce changes, annoying everyone she meets. Through their many adventures (and some epic misadventures!), Hare and Rooney figure out how to be best friends. It's not easy - not one bit. They have different opinions about the simplest things - like who wouldn't want to eat 5 different types of carrot for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Or who wouldn't enjoy the smell of a dirty trash can? Not to mention the chaos caused by lies, gossip, bossiness and jealousy. The good news is that all their different opinions and ideas lead Rooney and Hare to new adventures they would never have found alone. It seems like friendship is even becoming the key to building a wonderful new Backwoods community - in all its imperfect glory.—Kamila Dydyna
