Stomp It Out is a documentary film following a group of 15 gumboot dancers from a slum in Soweto, South Africa. The film follows this amazing group as they prepare for a life changing journey to China. For many of the group, who have never before left their settlement, this trip will not only be an incredible experience to learn about another culture, but also an opportunity for them to alter the face of poverty. This is a film about the human spirit, about courage and endurance in the face of challenges and about living life loud. Stomp It Out is the amazing story of a group of Soweto teenagers as they break free from poverty through the power of music and dance.
