An American woman spends more than ten years tracking down her daughter who was abducted and taken to the Middle East by the child's father.

The film is inspired by the story of Maureen Dabbagh, a woman from Virginia whose ex-husband stole their two year-old daughter and took her to the middle east in 1992. She spent over a decade searching for her daughter, one of 1,000 children illegally abducted from the US each year, before finally finding her.
