Stellenbosch tells the history of the Dutch Keppel family, who settled on the Arkadia estate in the 1950s to grow wine, but were forced to return to the Netherlands due to the economic boycott. Only daughter Betty decided to stay to continue the family business. With the election of Nelson Mandela in 1994, the chances for her ambitious brother Henk JR.. to produce a top wine again at Arkadia turned. Family ties come into even sharper focus when a fateful event from the past, always hushed up, slowly but surely surfaces.—Jakkepoes
