A shy girl who has trouble making friends, encounters an alien who can read minds.

Konohoshi Umika is a high school girl who is fascinated by aliens and dreams of journeying into outer space. Her peers think she's odd because of this, which has led to her struggle with severe social anxiety intensifying and trouble communicating with others. On the day of the high school entrance ceremony, she meets Akeuchi Yuu, a mysterious new student who claims they are an alien with supernatural powers. Even though Umika struggles with her anxiety and lack of confidence, she desires to befriend Yuu. Yuu, who wishes to return to space, and Umika, who desires to go into space, both end up joining the rocket research club, in the hopes of building a rocket that will help them realize their dreams.—Drama-Otaku
