STAKES IS HIGH is the story of a man, whose life is turned upside down when he leases a car to drive for a rideshare company.

At the bottom of the Hollywood dream is Will Goldin. An aspiring actor, moved to LA with one suitcase and $500. He's barely surviving as a waiter, struggling to get across town for auditions and work. His roommate introduces him to the world of Pyramid, a rideshare company, where he can lease a car and make money. It feels like a dream come true and Will can't resist. But he quickly learns the numbers don't add up. Desperate to make money, Will drives instead of sleeping. All day and all night, taking pills to stay awake. Fear and paranoia start to grab hold - he can't get caught, or he'll lose it all.
