1942. The Nazis launch the decisive phase of the Jew's extermination. From the ghettos, people are transported to the death camps. A young polish family takes in an abandoned Jewish girl - Hania. It doesn't go unnoticed with the local blackmailers, who demand ransom for their silence, Anastazja and Jan decide that the girl must be hidden.
