After the failed alien invasion of Earth, revenge-seeking P.I. Jessica Drew, a.k.a. Spider-Woman, is recruited by S.W.O.R.D., an agency specialized in eliminating alien threats, to track down the remaining aliens disguised as humans.

After recently been freed from the domination of the alien Skrull Empire, Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman, is in the dumps of being the pawn of yet another malevolent force. However, things begin to look different when a mysterious woman recruits her for a secret agency called the Sentient World Observation and Response Department (S.W.O.R.D.), dedicated to dealing with extraterrestrial threats to world security.
