In this urban fairytale, Femi and DaShaun are two teenagers from Harlem who are living against the odds. They are poor, they are ignored by their single parents, but they find each other and fall in love. Their love is threatened when an older gangster also falls in love with Femi and determines to have her for himself, whether she consents or not. As this confrontation heads towards tragedy, Femi and DaShaun receive magical assistance from and old woman who is more than she appears.—Anonymous
