In 2013 director Romulus Balazs discovered a book about an event from his native Romanian history unknown to him: the country's participation in the Holocaust. Leafing through it, he found a series of photographs taken during the Iasi holocaust. 74 years later, Balazs went to Romania to find locations where the photos had been taken. In two years he managed to identify nearly all of them, reconstructing the history of this tragedy.—Romulus Balazs
