Four unmarried sisters, Luísa, Susana, Zé, and Benedita, rely on themselves after their bankrupt father's death in Venezuela. With their mortgaged house, no money, and no job prospects, an forgotten inheritance from a single aunt in Lisbon becomes their salvation.
