Two amateur pickpockets work together only to learn there's no such thing as easy money.

The film explores the life of a scrappy pickpocket struggling in life from a lack of resources and connections. His good nature, wisdom and kind heart juxtapose his line of work as a thief, as well as his dark and gritty environment. This internal conflict fuels the story and forces the protagonist to question what it will take to escape a life of poverty. The film also follows the dynamic relationship between the protagonist and his best friend who become rivaling enemies, torn apart by the very craft that brought them together fifteen years ago.
