September Chavez (April Swanson) leaves her children in order to pursue a music career. However, she realizes years later that no amount of fame in the world can replace the love of her children. When she is diagnosed with a debilitating disease and returns home, September's sister Dorienne Clifford (Kat Kent) is faced with a dilemma of informing the children of a secret she and her sister September has been keeping for over eleven years.
