A reality show inspired by a famous survivalist sends eight contestants into the wilderness to film themselves in isolation. They soon realize the show is not what it seems - and in the forest, you're never really alone.

Dick Wardle was a famous survivalist who spent 25 years living alone in the Ontario wilderness. He inspired a generation, not only because of the books and films he created, but also for the strange rumors surrounding his disappearance. Now, eight contestants are lured into the woods on a reality show dedicated to Dick Wardle's life and teachings, where they'll film themselves attempting to survive as Dick did, on the very land where he went missing. Soon, the contestants of this reality show realize that the show is not what it seems.
