A comedy about loneliness, death, old age, VD, and more loneliness.
Bill should have moved out of his Dad's place years ago. He should have gone to college. He should have quit his job - a job more annoying than a sandpaper wedgie.
So why hasn't he chased these dreams? Because he has a bigger one. One sent from Heaven -or maybe Toledo. The dream's name is Sandra. She's funny. She's cute. She's obsessed with Aliens from outer space. And she loves Bill.
So what's the problem?
Her boyfriend.
You see, Sandra loves Bill, but isn't IN love with him. They're "just friends." He's always waiting in the wings for his life to begin. The closest thing Bill ever had to a physical relationship was a ride in a packed subway car. But that doesn't keep him from trying.
Things are about to fall into place...but not in the way he expected.
"Solitaire" looks deep into the heart of loneliness.
The Pain. The Bitterness. And of course, The Comedy.
