Manuela is a 14-year-old from the upper middle class, who has been abused by her stepfather since her widowed mother decided to rebuild her life. The story begins twelve years after the plane crash where her biological father passed away, when Manu and his family unexpectedly receive the news that they have found the lost remains in the Cordillera.
