Synopsis

Costa Verde, Central America.Bruno Diaz is the leader of Costa Verde, who is putting behind years of turmoil after a bloody power struggle in 1953, to sign a new trade deal with the US.Just before Bruno was about to address the nation, a female sniper Yuki "Lady Death" Mifune (Sayaka Akimoto) takes him out with a head-shot fired from a hidden location. Yuki is a Yakuza sniper.

Special Ops Sniper Brandon Beckett (Chad Michael Collins) is set up as the primary suspect for the murder of Bruno on the eve of signing a high-profile trade agreement with the United States. A hair was recovered from the spot from where the shot was taken, and it had a positive DNA match to Brandon. Brandon flew in and out of Costa Verde within hours of the attack.

Brandon is arrested by a SWAT team at his home, just before Yuki gets there to kill him. Yuki calls her handler who wanted Brandon's death to look like a suicide. The handler knows where Brandon is being taken and sends a strike team to take out the entire convoy.Brandon is interrogated at a CIA safe house by Agent John Franklin (Lochlyn Munro). Franklin alleges that Brandon had the motive, as his father undertook a mission in Costa Verde that went bad, and this was Brandon's way of getting revenge.

Franklin is interrupted by Zero/Zeke Rosenberg (Ryan Robbins), a Department of Homeland Security operative. Zeke warns Brandon that if he is innocent then the guilty party would want to tie up loose ends.Zeke points out that Bruno's address was attended by Donald South (Vincent Gale), the CEO of Novasil Pharmaceuticals. Zeke cannot understand why a CEO was attending a political function.Zeke confronts Donald, who says that he was a friend of Bruno and had campaigned to sign the trade deal. He says that his company was weeks away from a merger with Phykus Pharma, a Vancouver based company with ties to Costa Verde. The trade deal would have benefited Novasil immensely, and raised its enterprise value, and Doland alleges that Phykus sabotaged the deal as it did not want to pay full price.

Deke finds out that Josh Strayhorn (Alex Barima) is an accountant at Phykus who triggered a security alarm recently when he tried to access files above his clearance level. Drake Phoenix (Michael Jonsson) is the head of security at Phykus. Drake is evasive about the whereabouts of Josh.

Yuki's handler engages a Russian strike team to attach Brandon's convoy from the safe house. Yuki is assigned as backup in case the Russians fail. The Russians attack the convoy, but the guards fight back and kill a few. Brandon frees himself from his handcuffs and shoots the remaining Russians who approach the convoy van. Yuki tries to shoot Brandon, but he manages to drive away in the van.

Franklin believes that the sniper is Thomas, Brandon's father, who helped break Brandon out of custody. Agent Juliet Clover (Emily Tennant) is on Franklin's team, and feels that Franklin is jumping to conclusions without evidence and shares her fears with Zeke.Clover tells Zeke that Drake Phoenix has no official records and is a ghost. Clover then guides Zeke to a survivor Vasily Paterov (Sasha Piltsin) from the Russian shooting incident. Vasily says that the handler only had the sound of a helicopter in the background.Zeke goes to Brandon's apartment and finds that Drake was in Brandon's battalion and they served the military together. But Clover confirms that the photo of Drake that Zeke found, belong to Sergeant Clark McConnell, who was reported dead 5 years ago.Zeke confronts Josh at his apartment and finds that Phoenix had a plan to sabotage the trade deal and then profit from the proposed merger with Novasil.

Narrowly escaping death, Beckett realizes that there may be a dark operative working within the government and partners with the only person whom he can trust, his father, legendary Sniper Master Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Beckett (Tom Berenger).Brandon covers his tracks to reach his father's cabin in the woods in Montana.

Franklin finds Tom's coordinates from a birthday card that Thomas had sent Brandon. He sends an assault team to the forest. Zeke informs Franklin about Drake's plan and about Brandon's innocence. Franklin asks his team to stand down, but they are shot down by an unknown sniper. The sniper, Yuki, pins down Thomas and Brandon, Thomas inside the cabin and Brandon in a tree-house.In a game of patience, Brandon manages to out-wait Yuki and attacks her. Yuki defeats Brandon in hand-to-hand combat, but Thomas manages to corner her and forces her to surrender.Brandon contacts Franklin and reveals Yuki as the sniper. Franklin takes Brandon, Thomas and Yuki to his base, where Brandon suggests using Yuki as bait to attract Drake.Turns out Yuki's handler is Drake. Franklin offers immunity to Yuki in exchange for her cooperation, Yuki calls Drake and says that she has Brandon, and Drake asks her to deliver Brandon to him for her money.

Zeke investigates Drake's house in Vancouver and finds that Drake had fake passport in Brandon's name. It was Drake who traveled to Costa Verde in Brandon's name.Zeke follows Drake's trail to an Island in Duneberry, California, which has a huge private residence and a helipad. Zeke finds that Drake is working for Donald, and the duo were working together to profit from sabotaging the trade deal between US and Costa Verde.Donald says that after the merger he was being squeezed out of Novalis, and his angered him. So, he decided to profit from the deal which he orchestrated in the first place.

This is when Brandon and Yuki arrive at Donald's residence, with Brandon as her prisoner. Drake knew that Yuki was working for Franklin and shoots her, as Drake and Brandon engage in combat. Thomas was the sniper and takes his long range shot to take Drake out.Yuki survives, she frees Zeke, and corners Donald. Later, Zeke recruits Yuki for his missions.
