Produced to promote the modular vehicle building toyline Snap Ships, the mini serie depicts the inter-planetary war between the human-alien alliance "the Forge" and the hostile alien species "the Komplex", during which new vehicles and ships are configured, built, and introduced under the catch phrase "build to battle". A mysterious lost ancient alien civilization and technology dubbed "UJU tech" is set as a main objective for both parties while playing into the toyline's various toy gimmicks.
