Summaries

25 years after the events of the first film, the Charlestown Chiefs are still languishing in Pennsylvania.

With the original Hanson Brothers still on the same minor league ice hockey team, the Chiefs are sold to a new owner who gives them a female coach and puts them in a league in which they are to be regularly humiliated by an opposing Harlem Globetrotters-like team.—Damaris

With the glory days of Slap Shot (1977) being nothing more than a sweet memory, Pennsylvania's minor league ice-hockey team, the Charlestown Chiefs, are still failing to make progress, twenty-five long years later. After yet another disappointing season, the corrupt media mogul, Richmond Claremont, buys the club, intent on using the unruly "Super Chiefs" as the perfect foils for the arrogant Omaha IceBreakers. But, as if that weren't enough, the female coach, Jessie Dage, has taken the reigns from the disgraced former NHL player/coach, Sean Linden. Is this the end of the rowdy Charlestown Chiefs?—Nick Riganas
