The story revolves around the intertwined lives of four women: Marta, Paula, Ana, Olga and their families. Once close childhood friends, their friendship falls apart when the girls conspire and come up with a terrible rumor about Olga, which leads to her and their literature teacher Eduard being publicly shamed and kicked out of the high school. Olga desperately tries to prove her innocence, but fails, so she has to leave the town. 20 years have gone by and, the Shadows of the Past come back to haunt them, when the lives of four former friends intertwine again. Although Olga wants to continue with a normal life, she is forced to face her frenemies, as the desire for revenge awakens in her, which will trigger an avalanche of various, very unexpected events, and even murder.
