Wrongfully accused, Matas, 12, flees the orphanage with Guste, 10. Posing as brothers, they survive in a Lithuanian garbage dump in the midst of hunger, exploitation and violence.

Wrongly accused of killing another child and avoiding the colony, twelve-year-old Matas runs away from the orphanage. He is joined by ten-year-old Guste, who has become an accomplice in the escape. Pretending to be brother and sister Saukos, the children live in one of the biggest garbage dumps in Lithuania. In it, hunger, exploitation, violence and inevitable death await them. Matas creates a plan to escape, but fate prepares unpleasant surprises to stop them... The series are based on the motifs of the famous novel by E. Malukas "People of the Dump", which shocks from the first shots.
