Speaks about the passion for cricket in Indian village and friendship between Sam and Rajesh
During the 90s, Sam, a charismatic kid from a rural village of South India gets fascinated by cricket telecasted on television. His desire to get a bat makes him start collecting 500 cricket cards. On this new adventure, his best friend Rajesh from the tuition classes joins him. Sam does whatever it takes to get them, from stealing coins to collecting rubber seeds. After a failed cricket match, his best friend Rajesh gets accused of stealing a video game from the rich kid in the village. Sam begins to worry about his friend's absence from tuition and tutor's wedding. During holidays, Sam and his family travel to their aunt's place, and he meets an older guy that has a large collection of cricket cards. After school vacation when Sam is arranging his collection of cricket cards, his father catches him. The situation doesn't end well. Sam gets even more disappointed when he meets his friend Rajesh on his way to school. Finally, he knows the reason for Rajesh's absence.
