Takami is a television reporter for the Japan This Afternoon program. Unfortunately, the ratings are bleak and the program may be about to be cancelled. Takami is diligent, however, and when a teenage girl is reported kidnapped she is on the case. While on the beat and staying close to the police Takami is exposed to the schoolgirl's corpse.
