Isabel is a mule, a Spanish gypsy who was arrested in Venezuela flying back to Spain with drugs. She was pregnant and gave birth to her daughter, Rosita, in prison. She now sleeps in prison at nights and during the day lives with her daughter in a shantytown in the mountains of Caracas. Destined to live away from her family in a foreign country, with no possible return to Spain, Isabel struggles to survive with daughter in the chaos and violence of Caracas. 'Sin Vuelta' is a portrait of exile, of the reconstruction of a life, but also the portrait of a city in the midst of convulsion.—Anonymous
