Two con artists arrive in a western boom town that they think is ripe for the pickings, only to get swindled themselves.

Conman Dude McNair and his girl arrive in Carsin Town to find they have been sold worthless oil wells. The place is thriving and Dude soon eases himself in as half owner of a saloon. But his partner is playing a cagey and more deadly game. He is in jail so any lawlessness will be blamed on McNair.—Jeremy Perkins {J-26}
