A seven year old boy travels in Mexico with his mother, an addict to pain-killers who is unable to care for him and is hoping to persuade his dead father's family to take him off her hands. Emotionally alienated, the boy wanders around a hotel, taking refuge in his haunted imagination.—Anonymous
Looking for the relatives of his dead father, A boy and his mother travel to Mexico. Addicted to painkillers and unable to provide for the boy, she intends to abandon him with the relatives an the boy suspects something is wrong. He finds a set of 'Loteria' cards near his father's grave and using the images on them, he creates a fantasy related to his past, present and future. Surrounded by an unknown surreal atmosphere in a small town in Mexico, he explores his fears in an old hotel and an old theater, where he becomes part of a staging of Don Juan.—Anonymous
